Mattress FAQs
-
BASE OR FOUNDATION
The mattress does not come with a base or foundation, but you can purchase either one to support your mattress. Box springs cannot be used with our mattresses, and will void the warranty. You can also place the mattress into your bed frame, provided the bed is structurally sound, and has either a flat surface or slats that are at least 3" wide and no more than 4" apart.
PROTECTOR
While your mattress does come with a cover, it is not a waterproof protector for the mattress. We recommend purchasing a mattress protector that will keep your mattress safe from liquids, humidity, mites, and anything else that might harm the mattress material.
SHEETS
Any brand of sheets will work for our mattresses, but ours will be best. The corners of our fitted sheet will have patented straps to keep the sheet tightly and neatly in place, resulting in less wrinkles and less re-adjusting.

-
No, you should not place the mattress on a box spring. Box springs are designed to “give“ in supporting a traditional mattress, while Tempur-Pedic® mattresses require a solid base.
-
No, you do not. Our mattresses feature a top side designed specifically for sleeping, so you’ll never have to face the backbreaking task of flipping or rotating.
-
Absolutely. After you place your online order, our in-home delivery service will call you to schedule your free white glove mattress delivery. Item(s) typically arrive within a few weeks from the date you placed your order, with metro areas serviced a bit quicker than rural areas. Please be aware that unforeseen delivery delays may occur. When our shipping agents deliver your new bed, they’ll also set it up in your bedroom and remove all the packing materials. They’ll even take your old mattress and box spring, if requested.
-
Simply put, for a full decade after you purchase your new Tempur-Pedic®, if the mattress has a defect covered under the warranty guidelines, we’ll replace or repair it. This includes all parts of the mattress. Remember to register your new Tempur-Pedic® products online to successfully activate all applicable warranties.
Note that there are certain circumstances that will automatically void the manufacturer’s warranty, including inappropriate foundation use and physical damage. You can read the full warranty details here.
